It's hard to believe that 30 years ago on May 14, 1990, Randi Bregman first walked through the doors of Vera House. Randi began her journey as Coordinator of the Syracuse Area Domestic Violence Coalition and in 2001, she transitioned into the role of Executive Director. Randi has led our agency to new heights while keeping the Vera House mission close to her heart.
Just a few of her tremendous accomplishments include:
- Overseeing a merger with the Rape Crisis Center of Syracuse in 2005
- Securing new office sites for our growing organization in 2007 and 2017
- Enhancing our programming to offer innovative services such as the Men's Outreach Program in 2010 & Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention Training in 2018
