If you’re looking for a simple, meaningful way to support, consider donating an item from our Shelter Wish List. These essentials, things like toiletries, bedding, and snacks, make a real difference in someone’s life at a time when comfort and care are most needed. Every item matters. Thank you for showing up with love.
We’re so grateful for your generosity. Right now, we’re only able to accept items listed on our Shelter Wish List. This helps us manage storage, sorting, and distribution in the most supportive way possible for survivors.
If you have gently used clothing or household items, we encourage you to donate them to our partners at the Rescue Mission. They provide vouchers to the individuals and families we serve, making sure your items still go exactly where they’re needed.

Got an old phone tucked away in a drawer? It could help save a life.
Donating your unused cell or smartphone to Vera House can give someone in crisis a way to call 911 when they need it most. It’s a simple act with a powerful impact, turning your old tech into a tool for safety and connection.
Before donating cell phones, please turn off any passcodes and/or reset to factory settings.
We’re also in need of Tracfones, especially those that include a 30-day plan with Unlimited Talk & Text and 2 GB of data. These phones are often a lifeline for someone starting over, staying safe, or reaching support when it matters most.
You can find Tracfones and plans at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Kinney Drugs, and Dollar General.
Have questions about donating a phone? Give us a call at (315) 425-0818 ext. 22403 or send us an email. We’re happy to help.
Vera House is committed to ensuring our programs and services are welcoming to everyone. If you need assistance to ensure our services meet your needs, please call us at 315-425-0818 or click HERE to send an e-mail.
